A BOOK NOOK, BILLIARDS, AND A BAR - BASEMENT RENO

The focus for this basement renovation was to lighten the space while creating areas for entertainment and hidden nooks for grandchildren. This project was a full gut-renovation, stripping everything down to the bare structure. A high-top bar was positioned strategically to serve as a social hub, along with a built-in adjacent bar. Under-utilized space under the stairwell was transformed into a magical book nook for the owner’s grandchildren. Custom built-in bookshelves conceal the many toys and board games from view, while a new sliding barn door hides the adjacent unfinished basement storage.
